My name is Ryan "Jake" Jakubowski and I am now the proud parent of a beautiful baby boy, Carlo, born on August 1st, 2017. Along with my son, I have an amazing wife, Laura,  who inspires me everyday and is always very supportive of my photography.

For over 25 years, photography has been my passion and my compass, guiding me to explore the world’s hidden corners and stunning vistas. My love for travel fuels my desire to capture the beauty and diversity of our planet—whether it’s the serene stillness of a remote landscape, the vibrant energy of a bustling cityscape, or the haunting allure of abandoned buildings. 

 

I thrive on adventure, often chasing storms to witness nature's raw power and the stunning drama it creates. The thrill of capturing a lightning strike or the calm after a tempest is unmatched. Equally, I am captivated by the night sky; there’s something magical about photographing the aurora borealis and the twinkling stars that blanket the cosmos.
